The pain you feel is very real, and it spreads through all you do,

i can see men hiding in the fields playing war like small guerillas.
i can see children working in the yard, it's hard being so small inside.
i think i hear laughter echo off the walls, it's just a memory fading slowly.
do you remember when we became used, we lost our heroes there forever.
it's the killing time, it's the killing days, we'll be killing time in our own ways.
maybe tomorrow i'll see you soon, but don't hold your breath, we're parting ways now, because it's the killing days.
