The Entity began summer '05 between Joshua Smith and Josiah Daniels, later joined by Johnathan Marshall. The groundwork laid during their first sessions together became the basic inspiration for the musical direction of what would become their debut album. Joshua Smith built the conceptual framework over the next six years as a response to the changes he saw around him.
